Caro is a compassionate Cape Town-based physiotherapist with a
special interest in sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation. She
completed her BSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Cape
Town in 2018 (with distinction) and her community service at a
regional hospital in Gauteng, before working in private
practice in Cape Town for the past six years.
She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Interdisciplinary Pain
Management (UCT, 2021, with distinction), which strengthened
her interest in evidence-based pain management for acute and
chronic conditions. Caro recently completed her MSc in Sport
and Exercise Physiotherapy at UCT in 2026 (with distinction).
Her research focused on lower-limb injuries and proprioception
in professional ballet dancers, in collaboration with Cape
Town City Ballet.
With a strong personal background in movement, including
ballet, teaching clinical Pilates (BASI Matwork certified),
and completing multiple road and trail half marathons, Caro
brings a genuine love of movement into her rehabilitation
approach, helping people return confidently to the activities
they care about.
